The report of the Delimitation Committee has been handed over to Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena by its chairman Mr. Mahinda Deshapriya.
The Prime Minister's Media Unit stated that it was handed over to Mr. Dinesh Gunawardena at the Prime Minister's Office.
It is stated that this report has proposed to limit the number of existing members of local government bodies which are more than 8,000.
