A petition with 10,000 signatures will be signed from the Talawakele area against the Minister of Health Keheliya Rambukwella.
A program to collect ten thousand signatures from the Talawakele area in front of the Lidula Regional Hospital in Talawakele was held on (19) in order to support the motion of no confidence to be brought to Parliament by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya against the Minister of Health Mr. Keheliya Rambukwella.
The Nuwara Eliya Constituency Organizer of the Samagi Jana Balawega Mr. Asoka Sepala had organized this signature gathering program.
That the health sector of this country is in danger of collapsing because hospitals are not provided with the necessary equipment and buildings are not repaired, and the health sector of this country is at risk of collapse due to the provision of non-standard vaccines and medicines without providing the necessary vaccines and medicines to the hospitals. Mr. Asoka Sepala said that due to the current situation, the sick people of the plantation are suffering a lot.
Mr. Asoka Sepala further said that steps will be taken to present the petition with ten thousand signatures obtained from the Talawakele area to the speaker and that the program of obtaining signatures has received the full support of the people of the Talawakele area.
