Another match of the Asia Cup One Day Cricket Tournament is scheduled to be held today (04) at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy.
It is between the strong Indian team and the Nepalese team.
The fourth match of this tournament was held yesterday (03) in Lahore, Pakistan between the Bangladesh team and the Afghanistan team.
It was possible to win by 89 points in that match.
The Bangladesh team, who batted first in the match, scored 334 runs for the loss of five wickets, and in reply, the Afghanistan team could score only 245 runs in 44.3 overs.
In the meantime, Pakistan has managed to take the lead in Group A and Sri Lanka to take the lead in Group B of the Asia Cup One Day Cricket Tournament.
Pakistan, India and Nepal are competing in Group A.
According to that, the Pakistan team has won the first place in that category by participating in two matches and winning one match and getting three bonus points.

However, as the match between Pakistan and India had to be abandoned due to rain, both teams got 1 bonus point each and it did not affect the percentage of gross points.
The Nepali team, which is in third place in that group, participated in one match and lost in that match.
Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan team, which is leading in Group B, has a gross points percentage of 0.951 and participating in one match, winning that match and getting two bonus points.
The second placed Bangladesh team has participated in both the matches and won one match and lost the other match and managed to get two bonus points.
Their gross score percentage is 0.373.
Meanwhile, the Afghanistan team, which is ranked third in Group B, lost the only match they participated in.
Meanwhile, Shaheen Shah Afridi is the leading wicket-taker in the Asia Cup One Day Cricket Tournament.
He has managed to take six wickets in two innings.
Haris Rauf is second with five wickets and Taskin Ahmed is third with five wickets.
Najmul Hossain Shanto, who has scored 193 runs in two innings, is the leading scorer in the tournament.
Babar Azam scored 151 points and Mehidy Hasan Miraz scored 117 points and are in the second and third positions respectively.
Meanwhile, the sixth match of the series or the final match of the first round is scheduled to be held tomorrow (05) between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan in Lahore, Pakistan.
